Another issue is the repeatability of measurement. I have decided to create a separate subpage for this issue to specifically highlight it in your consciousness despite the fact that its description will be short.
Keep in mind that you can be very disappointed when despite all your efforts to maintain identical conditions between measurements, the measurements themselves can give very different results. Especially when the interval in time between measurements is counted in days. It happened to me a few times disappoint me and to this day I am not sure what could have been the cause.
When you face this situation, you have to repeat the entire procedure of obtaining the speakers data and then check again the accuracy of the simulation with the new measurement of the crossover. Most likely, the simulator will be fine. Then it means that some conditions have changed, for example the ambient temperature(?), humidity(?) or any of the devices have been moved little bit. To avoid the problem of non-repeatability, you should also remember to heat up the measurement set and its calibration.
